Mandate of the Department

The Treasury Services Department is mandated to prepare the Institutional budget, manage and account for both expenditure and revenue for the Municipality.
The Department has positioned its self to re-engineer its processes and roll out an efficient financial management system which will support the business of the Municipality.

Core functions of the Department

  1. To collect Revenue from within Mukono Municipality
  2. To develop a 5 year Financial Plan for the Municipality
  3. To develop a Budget and ensure proper Resource Allocation
  4. To provide monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reports
  5. To continuously monitor the Budget
